We apply to hold a big show for 10 Olympic Official Films inJune this year around China’s six main cities, as Beijing,Shanghai, Tianjin, Qinhuangdao, Shenyang and Qingdao. We need somesupport from IOC of borrowing these films if our plan isavailable.
Olympic Games will be hold in China, 2008. It is a great eventin every Chinese person’s mind and everybody in China want to knowmore about Olympic Games now. We think Olympic Official Film is asignificant way to talk about history of Olympic Games and Olympicspirit. Olympic Games, as we all known, have its own long history,different Olympic Games have its different expression styles andthe same Olympic spirit, Olympic Official Films recorded them,however, less people know about Olympic Official Films in China.
We plan to show these films in 18 famous Universities in the sixcities above from June to August, 2007. We think it’s very moreimportant to show them among youth than in other places in China.The goal of the Olympic Movement is to contribute to building apeaceful and better world by educating youth. Telling them throughsport without discrimination of any kind, and our world requiresmutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity andfair play.
We hope our applying will be accepted, and we will try our bestto hold this big show.
